A Nigerian woman, Bola Adebisi, took that saying to a new level! 52 year-old Bola swallowed FIVE POUNDS of heroin wrapped in 180 pellets thereby shattering d record set March 30, 2011 by a Nigerian male, 46-year-old Yomade Aborishade of Lagos, who ingested FOUR POUNDS of heroin in 100 pellets!
Yea, Bola was arrested at Dulles International Airport. She arrived via Ethiopian Airlines flight 500 from Adis Ababa! And yes, she set a new record in swallowing drugs! One begins to wonder why drug mules ignore the health risks involved in such reckless behaviors! Below is an x-ray of the ingested pellets:
